He possesses a thorough knowledge of the Prevention of Illegal Eviction From and Unlawful Occupation of Land Act 19 of 1998 (the PIE act), the Rental Housing Act (duly amended), the Unfair Practice Regulations, common law and the latest law from various jurisdictions, including both the Supreme Court of Appeal and Constitutional Court.
